When Sadie discovers mysterious footprints, she knows something isn’t right. The tracks are too big, the smells are unfamiliar, and the clues just keep getting stranger!
With her curious sister Marigold leading the way, Sadie sets off to solve the mystery. Along the way, they encounter purple paws, a creaky bridge, and some very suspicious giant bean-shaped footprints.

Marigold smelled the footprints too. She followed them down the path through the woods. They cut into the mud and left giant bean holes.
Wait, they did look like giant beans.
It can’t be the deer. Their footprints are small and pointy and smell a little musky. These footprints are bigger and more like the cows over at Farmer Justin’s. But the cow footprints are pointy too.

“Marigold! I think these tracks belong to a Grizzly Bean!”
Marigold stopped following the trail. She looked at me, then looked back down at the footprints.
“A Grizzly Bean? What’s a Grizzly Bean?”
“I don’t know, but it’s got giant bean footprints and lots of teeth. Be very careful.”
